ISHIMA Pte. Ltd., headquarterd in Singapore, was founded on 12th July 2005 in Singapore. A Private Company promoted by Italian ship owning group d’Amico, a family group from Italy.
d’Amico has been operating for over sixty years in all the following segments of the shipping industry: tankers and bulk carriers.
d’Amico is one of the world’s leader within the shipping industry and use its long tradition, skills, experience and values to provide value added services to its clients.
In 2008, ISHIMA Pte Ltd has established a joint venture with Cambiaso Risso Marine Group under the name of Cambiaso Risso Asia Pte Ltd, active in Marine Insurance Broking business.
In 2017, Ishima has merged his Agency Port Services activity (operated through a subsidiary) with Cambiaso & Risso (Singapore) Pte Ltd, part of Cambiaso Risso Shipping Agency Group, with coverage in Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai (all Chinese Ports).
Today, Ishima manages a fleet of more than 40 vessels and supervises construction of new building of over 100 vessels.
The implementation of an Integrated Management System originates from a company choice which places primary importance in terms of the quality of services provided to the clients, health and safety at the workplace, energy efficiency, safeguarding the environment and social responsibility, through the adoption of recognized international standards and certifications.
Moreover, the Integrated Management System, developed with an approach based on company processes, allows Ishima to identify, maintain and improve a dynamic organizational management model in a united perspective, functional to the demands and specifications of the various sectors, taking full advantage of the possible strategies

Having started out with a mere two ships, ISHIMA now manages a fleet of around 40 vessels and has been supervising the building of over 100 vessels
ISHIMA is dedicated to quality and environmental protection and has therefore been accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
The company office and fleet vessels are visited by different Oil Majors as part of their review system.
The port agency services currently manages an average of 100 calls per month in Asia.
